ProcinQ™ Engine

Several applications are available with the ProcinQ™ Engine. All of these applications are written to the ProcinQ API.

ProcinQ Editor’s Desktop:

The Editor’s Desktop is a cross platform graphical tool for managing taxonomies and associated content. The desktop provides the following capabilities.

	Create, load and edit taxonomies
	Edit and test concept signatures
	Understand taxonomies with integrated reporting and visualization rules
	Discover trends with Concept Query Language and integrated data visualizations
	Create higher level concepts based on granular taxonomies and user narratives
	Tune classification rules and manage unstructured data relationships

ProcinQ Alert System

The ProcinQ Alert system makes the ProcinQ server a proactive notification system by regularly collecting information that is of interest and sending the information via standard email.

ProcinQ Alert system enables users to:

	Create user profiles that define areas of interest
	Set up rules for how often information is received and what kind of information is generated
	Receive custom emails when information matching the user profile is discovered

ProcinQ Web Portal

The ProcinQ Web Portal application is a cross platform web portal that provides search and directory browsing services for the ProcinQ Database. This secure portal provides:

	End user search for taxonomies, documents and meta data
	Browsing services for navigating taxonomies
	Narrative Alert for high level subject areas made of many concepts
	Integration into the Alert system
	Automated Summaries for returned document content based on concepts

Profiler

The profiler is a skills manager that allows a company to map user skills to the company’s industry related taxonomies. Users can quickly demonstrate to the system what their skills are inside various subject areas loaded into the ProcinQ Server. This application allows for rapid management of employee skills enabling the right people to be staffed on projects.
